Salman Khan’s rumoured lady love Iulia Vântur has reviewed his latest release Sikandar, which stars Rashmika Mandanna. Iulia shared her personal connection to the movie, describing it as both entertaining and moving.
In an interview with Just Too Film, Iulia, who lent her voice to a rendition of “Lag Jaa Gale” for the movie, opened up about how the film impacted her emotionally. “I watched it. I cried, I laughed as well, but I cried more. It’s very emotional, especially the first part. I cried—I couldn’t stop. It’s fun as well. I loved the action,” she said.
The Romanian artist also spoke candidly about her relationship with Salman Khan, crediting him for playing a pivotal role in her journey in the Indian entertainment industry. She opened up about receiving good guidance from Salman and how grateful she is for that. “I am very grateful for that because there’s an experience of 30+ years in the industry, plus what he got from his dad, the legendary Salim Khan. He is one person who believes in my voice and who supports me, and I am very happy for that,” she said.

Highlighting the kind of support she received, Iulia elaborated, “Because once he believes in somebody, he invests in that person—not money. It’s emotional investment, it’s support,” she revealed.
Iulia also shared an example, saying that if she is not having a good day at the studio, a person’s presence and kind words about her having a great voice help her keep pushing forward. “Because there were many moments when I doubted and thought that maybe I am not good enough for this,” she added.

During the same conversation, Iulia revealed an interesting backstory behind the chartbuster “Teri Meri Meri Teri” from Bodyguard. She recalled singing the Romanian version of the song at a party before its Bollywood transformation.
Iulia has previously collaborated with artists like Mika Singh and Yo Yo Honey Singh.
