Taylor Swift and
Travis Kelce made sure to spend Thanksgiving 2024 together. The popular couple managed to bring their families together for the holiday. Despite their hectic schedules, they have been putting in effort to make their relationship work.
On Monday, it was reported that spending Thanksgiving together this year was a priority for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as they hadn't been able to do so in the past. An insider shared that this year’s celebration required extra effort to ensure it was a family-centered event, especially since they couldn't celebrate together last year.
Last year, Taylor was performing in South America for her Eras Tour, while Travis Kelce was busy with his Kansas City Chiefs commitments. However, this year, Taylor, along with her family—mom Andrea and dad Scott—hosted the entire Kelce family for Thanksgiving at their home in Nashville.
A source shared with PEOPLE that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had a wonderful Thanksgiving together with their families, celebrating their first-ever joint holiday. The couple, who began dating in the summer of 2023, hosted Travis' parents, Donna and Ed, along with his brother Jason, sister-in-law Kylie, and their three nieces at Taylor's Nashville home.
After Thanksgiving, Travis Kelce flew out for the Chiefs' game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29. Taylor Swift, along with her mom Andrea and dad Scott, joined Kelce's mom Donna to cheer on the Chiefs in their 19-17 victory. This unexpected move surprised some fans, especially since Donna had previously mentioned on the Today show that Taylor wouldn't be able to spend time with Travis due to her packed schedule.
Despite the challenges, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce knew it would require careful planning to make it happen. Now, they’re incredibly grateful they were able to pull it off.
