Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel's 'Dragon' to feature one of the most unique scripts; claims filmmaker Ravi Shankar

The upcoming film starring Jr. NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel has been in the news since it was announced and most recently after the production of the film was kick started. The film tentatively titled 'Dragon', has become one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema.

The film, which marks the first collaboration between the 'RRR' star and the 'KGF' director and touted to be made on a huge scale, storyline, and action-packed sequences. At a recent success meet for another film, producer Ravi Shankar shared some exciting details about the film.

As per a Pinkvilla report, during the event, Ravi Shankar revealed that 'Dragon' has one of the most unique scripts he has ever come across. He expressed confidence that the film would set a new benchmark in Indian cinema with its storytelling and cinematic execution. While he refrained from predicting box office numbers, he mentioned that the movie might exceed everyone's expectations.


He said, "Definitely, 'Dragon' is one of the most unique scripts I have ever seen. A script like this has never been seen in Indian cinema before. So, the sky is the limit for the movie. I am extremely confident about the film."

Speaking about the film, Prashanth Neel, known for his gritty narratives and larger-than-life action sequences, is expected to bring his signature style to 'Dragon'. Reports suggest that the film will explore themes of power, rebellion, and survival, with Jr. NTR taking on a gritty and intense role.

The shooting for 'Dragon' is currently underway, with Jr. NTR joining the shooting soon as he is also making his Bollywood debut in the upcoming spy action film, 'War 2' co-starring with Hrithik Roshan.

The film is announced to be released worldwide on January 9th, 2026.
