Television actressCharu Asopa, best known for her role in
Mere Angne Mein, has officially bid goodbye to Mumbai and relocated to her hometown,
Bikaner, along with her daughter Ziana. The move, as Charu explained, was a thoughtful decision to provide a more stable and financially manageable environment for herself and her daughter.Since settling in, she’s been sharing adorable, candid moments with Ziana on social media — the two recently seen relaxing on a couch, giggling and enjoying some downtime together.
Upon arriving in Bikaner by train, Charu couldn’t help but comment on the extreme heat. But the warmth of being closer to family and the comfort of her hometown seems to be worth it. She’s also embarking on a new journey as an entrepreneur, having launched her own
online clothing business. From managing orders to personally overseeing shipping, Charu is hands-on with every aspect of her venture.
In an interview with Times of India TV, she opened up about her decision. “I tried to buy a house in Mumbai but it is too expensive and I can’t afford it,” she said candidly. “Rent and other living costs can go up to 1–2 lakhs a month. With that money, I can pay an EMI and build my own home in Bikaner.”
She further emphasized that raising Ziana in Bikaner would not only be financially easier but also better for her child’s education and overall well-being. “I feel the education system in Bikaner is better. There were many aspects that made me decide to relocate. If I have to travel for work, I can, and Ziana can stay with her grandparents — it’s better than leaving her with a maid in Mumbai.”
Charu now films her content from home, making her decision both practical and personal. Her journey highlights the strength of a single mother choosing what’s best for her child and herself, while fearlessly starting over.
